How to Make Lemon Cayenne Pepper Detox Drink

I have created 5 easy steps on how to make lemon cayenne pepper detox drink.

Step 1

Firstly, make sure you have a cup or container large enough to take the 10oz of filtered water and all the other ingredients. Pour 5oz of the filtered water into the cup or container.

Step2

Add 2 table spoons of organic lemon juice. Ideally, you will squeeze this juice from fresh organic lemons. make sure that you do not put pulp or seeds into your container.

Step3

Now you’re ready to add 2 table spoons of organic grade B maple syrup

Step4

Add 1/10 Teaspoon ground cayenne pepper (The pepper is areal concern for some people, but the lemonade is surprisingly tasty. The cayenne pepper gives the lemonade a nice kick.)

Step5

All that is left to do is stir well, add the remaining filtered water and Enjoy!

Please note that this recipe is for a single serving of the lemon pepper detox drink, and you should drink 6-12 servings a day.

To make it easy for yourself, make up a big batch by multiplying the recipe by however many servings you plan on drinking, which is what I have done in the past. Just make sure you keep it refrigerated, and don’t make more then one days supply because you want the lemonade to be as fresh as possible when you drink it.

If you don’t like spicy drinks take two cayenne pepper capsules with each glass of lemonade instead of mixing the ground cayenne pepper into the drink. You can find cayenne pepper capsules at most health food and vitamin stores. Check out http://www.the10daydetox.com for more info on how to make the lemonade. I have a video you can watch too!

The Truth About The Master Cleanse Lemonade Diet

This is also called the master cleanser lemonade fast. It is very popular now. Beyonce lost 20 pounds in 10 days with it and Robin Quivers (Howard Stern’s assistant) heard about it from magician, David Blaine. She lost 73 pounds with it. There are many testimonials of people losing weight and getting other benefits from it. But there are also complaints about it.

Many people have practiced fasting including Jesus, Moses, Aristotle, Mark Twain, Hippocrates and many medical doctors. Because of this, it has been constantly improved upon. But because the lemonade diet was created by one person, Stanley Burroughs, it has attracted many people who are afraid to improve on it or change anything about it. It is like fasting since they are not eating food and consuming water, which is the main ingredient in the lemonade. So they get many of the benefits of fasting like losing weight. The lemonade diet recipe contains water, freshly squeezed lemons, maple syrup and cayenne pepper.

People experienced with fasting know that you do not have to worry about the colon. Fasting gives it a vacation and it becomes healthier than ever. With the lemonade fast people lose weight and get health benefits from not eating. But there is a practice done as part of it known as the Salt Water Flush where you drink water with a lot of salt in it. This has generated many complaints. I tried it once but never again because I felt sick after doing it.

People complain how the taste of it. They complain about wanting to vomit after doing it and other problems. It consists of drinking salt water which does not get digested but goes thru and comes out the same way that solid waste comes out. Also they complain how you have to be home with easy access to the toilet since this stuff can come out very quickly. The purpose of doing it is to cleanse the colon. When I did it, I did not know what is bad about it and wanted to see if it really did that and it did. Some complain that it does not happen with them.

Now these people do not know why it goes through undigested. The reason is because it is very toxic. It does not take much salt, which is not a food, to kill someone. A guy dissolved 4 ounces of salt (112,000 mg) in a quart of water and drank it and it killed him. A quarter pounder is 4 ounces. The American Medical Association is trying to get the FDA to make salt a regulated substance so they can limit the amount that is put in foods. If someone wants, they can use an enema to clean the colon. They are used in hospitals daily.

If someone consumes no salt for 2 weeks, they can lose up to 20 pounds (mostly water weight). Salt has no calories but can make you fat since it causes you to retain water. Water weight makes you look very fat and weighs a lot. Also consuming less calories and burning lots of calories has no effect on this weight. Also people doing the master cleanse will drink a laxative tea which can be too strong and cause intestinal cramping. Stanley Burroughs is dead so he can not correct mistakes that he made so it is up to others to do it.

Already some who are followers of this lemonade diet have made minor improvements like replacing maple syrup with agave (a natural sweetener from a cactus) and taking the cayenne in a capsule or a shot glass instead of it being in their lemonade. Dr Herbert Shelton (ND, DC) supervised fasts on 40,000 people. On the first 6,000 he had all of them take enemas. But then he learned that in most cases you do not need to worry about the colon and the rest were done without enemas or with anything to address the cleaning of the colon.

Lemonade Master Cleanse Recipe – What Are the Ingredients and What Do They Do?

The Lemonade Master Cleanse recipe is a very simple yet effective way to clean out your system of unwanted poisons and toxins. The basic recipe consists of a mixture of lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper and filtered water. Below I have listed the measurements and purpose of each of these ingredients.

10fl oz per serving or 60 fl oz per day of filtered water:

Besides acting as the base of the formula the filtered water also provides the body the much needed fluids it will require during the detox. The water also acts as transport for the toxins being flushed out of the body.

1/10 tsp per serving or ½ tsp per day red cayenne pepper:

The cayenne pepper acts as a strong detoxifying agent. An odd choice for a drink but in such small amounts you will hardly, if at all notice the taste.

2 tbsp per serving or 12 tbsp per day lemon juice:

Lemons contain essential minerals and nutrients that your body will require during this cleanse. Lemon also has some mild acid properties that will assist in the purging of the toxins.

2 tbsp per serving or 12 tbsp per day maple syrup:

The primary purpose of this is to add some sweetness and flavour to the drink, we want you to be able to get it down. The secondary purpose of the maple syrup is the natural detoxifying properties it contains.

As you can see, the Lemonade Master Cleanse Recipe is pretty simple and each one of its ingredients serves a purpose. Combine these parts together and keep chilled for the day and you will be well on your way to feeling healthier, having more energy and losing weight.

Find Out If the Maple Syrup Detox is Right For You

The Maple Syrup Detox is also called the Master Cleanse or Lemon Diet (even Lemonade Diet). This simple cleanse was the brainchild of naturopath Stanley Burroughs in the 1940s. Since then many people are happily doing this detox several times a year.

The Maple Syrup Detox is easy to do. You simply drink at least 60oz of the special lemonade throughout the day.

The lemonade consists of:

60 oz Water (a good quality filtered water is best)

12 tablespoons Maple Syrup (Grade B Maple Syrup is best)

12 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice (organic lemons is best)

Just over half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper (or to taste)

That is it! You drink the 60oz of the above lemonade throughout the day. Nothing else except additional water or herbal tea. No solid food and no other drinks. The length of time recommended is 10 days which is the full maple syrup detox. If you can manage this even for 5 days it’s good. Some people do it for 14 days or even more. As they say, everything is good!

Some people though do a different version where they substitute one or two meals a day with the 2 to 3 glasses of the lemonade. However, if you do this, please keep away from processed foods, sweets and candy, fried food, red meat, white bread and flour, dairy products, coffee and black tea as well as alcohol. In other words, keep it simple.

Another method is to simple do the detox once a week – just drinking lemonade and nothing else except water and/or herbal tea for that day.

So what can you hope to achieve with this particular detox. You are cleansing your body of toxins (here the longer you do the detox up to the recommended 10 days the better). You health has improved and therefore you won’t be getting sick so often. You can also expect increased vitality as your energy levels improve as well as clearer skin, shiny hair and eyes, your nails should be stronger and of course weight loss. The initial weight loss won’t last as you will gradually go back to your normal diet.

Please do not make the mistake of returning to your old eating habits at once. In fact, it’s highly likely that your body will revolt if you do. After the detox, make yourself a fresh vegetable soup and just drink the broth. Next day you can have the vegetables too. Take several days to introduce different foods.

It is recommended to consult your doctor before doing the detox. The main thing is to take things easy and listen to your body whilst on the maple syrup detox and afterwards.

Lemon Cayenne Pepper Detox Drink

The Lemon Cayenne Pepper Detox Drink is also known as the Master Cleanse, the lemonade diet, or the Beyonce Knowles diet.  This detoxification drink has some amazing benefits such as weight loss, improving skin complexion, and increasing energy.  This drink is also very inexpensive as the ingredients you need are available at your local grocery stores.

The first ingredient of the lemon cayenne pepper detox drink is lemon juice.  You should look for organic, fresh lemons. Buying bottled lemon juice usually contains sugar and other additives that you do not need.  Freshly squeezed juice is ideal, but you can also use natural, organic lemon juice.  You add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice to the detox drink.

The next ingredient is organic grade B maple syrup.  It is best to not use the sugar filled syrup you have in your pantry because it will lessen the effect of the diet.  You want to find pure, organic maple syrup with as little additives as possible. You also add 2 tablespoons of maple syrup to the detox drink.

The third ingredient is ground cayenne pepper.  Most people are turned off by the cayenne pepper because they believe it will make the drink taste bad.  The lemon juice and maple syrup do a very good job of masking the taste of the pepper.   You add 1/10 of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the detox drink.

The last ingredient is 10 oz of filtered water.  Watch out for bottled water as you can never tell if it is really pure, or if it is just processed tap water.  Filtered water is the best to use.  Tap water can contain trace amounts of unknown and unwanted contaminants which lessen the effectiveness of the detox.

The lemon cayenne pepper detox drink is very easy to make, but finding the right ingredients will prove vital in affecting the effectiveness of your detox cleanse.
